Home Fellowship Training Program Formative Assessment
Formative Assessment Print E-mail

Candidates are exposed to, and tested in, contemporary health service administration and evaluation skills to equip them for lifelong learning in areas of the health systems in which they work.

All RACMA assessment tools have two elements:
  • a formative element, i.e. they provide the Candidate with feedback on their progress in the acquisition of the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to complete the College training program. Of the suite of assessment tools, the In-Training Feedback Reports, and National Trial Exam provide the Candidates with detailed formative feedback without impacting on progression.

  • summative assessment, i.e. assessment that impacts on progression through and completion of the training program.
