Apart from her role as Physician in Charge of Satellite and In-Centre Hemodialysis for North West Dialysis Services, she is an accredited physician at Epworth Healthcare, Mercy Private and St Vincent’s Private and General Physician at the Peter MacCallum Hospital. Her clinical role involves the care of inpatients and outpatients as well as supervision of junior medical staff and advanced trainees in General Medicine and Nephrology.

This is a joint State/Commonwealth role responsible for implementation of the National Organ and Tissue Donation Reform Package in South Australia. Prior to her current role, Dr Tideman held the position of Director of Medical Services at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and Medical Administrator, Department of Health South Australia.

Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite - External Prof Braithwaite is a leading health services and systems researcher with an international reputation for his work investigating and contributing to systems improvement. He has particular expertise in the culture and structure of acute settings, leadership, management and change in health sector organisations, quality and safety in healthcare, accreditation and surveying processes in international context and the restructuring of health services. He is well known for bringing management and leadership concepts and evidence into the clinical arena and he has published extensively (more than 300 refereed contributions, and 500 total publications) about organisational, social and team approaches to care which has raised the importance of these in Australia and internationally.
