The attached Schedule 1 shows membership categories and relative weightings to be used to determine annual subscription rates

Annual subscriptions are due on 1 July and payable within 45 days i.e. 14 August of the same calendar year.

Candidate Fees

The Board prescribes Candidate fees and associated training fees for elements of the fellowship training program. These fees are payable by all Candidates and are specified and approved by the Board from time to time.

The Candidate Membership fee is due on the first day of February in any current year and payable within 45 days (17 March) in the same calendar year.

Other Board approved training fees must be paid before the date of the training event in the annual training calendar. Fees outstanding for any training event or requirement will result in withholding of results until fees are paid and/or may preclude participation in subsequent training events until outstanding fees are paid.

All training fees and subscriptions shall be paid by a Candidate, prior to admission to the final oral examination.

All training fees relate to services provided in Australia.

Overdue Subscriptions

Clause 9.3 of the RACMA Constitution states:

Failure to pay the whole or any part of the annual subscriptions and Candidate Membership fee to the College within 45 days of the same calendar year will result in a 5% late fee being applied to the annual subscription fee or Candidate Membership fee. The Member will be re-invoiced.

The Board may send by registered post to any Member, at the last address appearing in the records of the College, letters requiring payment of the amount due to the College.

Appeals

Any Member has a right to appeal against a decision of the Board about payment of overdue annual subscriptions or Candidate Membership fees. The Board may review the annual subscriptions, associated fees and training fees, and may, at its absolute discretion, vary these fees.
