Interested in becoming a Surveyor for the ACHS?
Successful ACHS Surveyor applicants are invited to attend a three-day surveyor training program in our Sydney office. On successful completion of this course surveyors are initially appointed for a period of two years.

The process for surveyor applications involves several regular intakes per year, to enable specific areas of need to be targeted. We advertise on the ACHS website and in health journals and request applications to be sent in at that time. This process prevents applications not being processed or actioned for long periods of time.

Intakes during 2011 will take place in our Sydney office on Wednesday 16 March to Friday 18 March 2011 (now closed), followed by Wednesday 15 June to Friday 17 June 2011 and Wednesday 19 October to Friday 21 October 2011. For the June intake we are specifically looking to recruit medical clinicians, due to the increased clinical focus of the EQuIP 4 /EQuIP5 Standards.

June 2011 applications will close Friday 6 May 2011

To help potential surveyors determine whether or not they meet the requirements to become an ACHS Surveyor, please find relevant documentation below, including a job description, selection criteria and surveyor commitments.
